I moved to New York City seven years ago with a few trash bags of clothes, a sleeping bag, and some serious stars in my eyes. There were a lot of PB&Js in those early days (as well as cockroaches). Currently I work as a community manager/social strategist at a creative agency in Manhattan, but the adventure has certainly not waned. This blog is a collection of narratives centered around living in NYC, my occasional travels, and the amusing people I've encountered along the way. You can also find my work in The Huffington Post, Parents magazine, Brit+Co, and a few other cool publications.

My goal is to tell stories—so let's start here

You must understand the whole of life, not just one little part of it. That is why you must read, that is why you must look at the skies, that is why you must sing and dance, and write poems and suffer and understand, for all that is life.
