Facebook Age Requirement: Children Lying About How Old They Are May Put Peers At Risk

A federal law created to protect minors in the digital world may be thrusting them into harm’s way.

According to a recent study from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University, students who lie about their age to access Facebook prior to turning 13 could be putting other students at risk.
